Outside my window… a surprisingly sunny day!

I am thinking… of how best to enjoy it

I am thankful for… this little wiggly being inside of me

From the kitchen… lots of peanut butter (Smucker’s Natural, my favorite)

I am wearing… maternity clothes my MIL wore when pregnant with my hubby!

I am creating… catch-up blog posts so I won’t feel “already behind” when baby’s born

I am going… to see my good friend Kathleen in just over a week!

I am reading… The Nursing Mother’s Companion (and re-reading most of my other parenting-related books)

I am hoping… for a healthy baby Hope :-)

I am hearing… nothing. Very quiet in here. I’m sure that won’t last long!

Around the house… lots of laundry to wash and last items to get together for baby!

One of my favorite things… baby leggings. they’re so adorable, I’m addicted to knitting them!

A few plans for the rest of the week: laundry, knitting, reading, emailing people

Here is picture for thought I am sharing…

Outside My Window …  beautifully sunny, it’s hard to believe Christmas is almost here. I can’t complain though; our one week of winter temperatures was more than enough for me!

I am thinking … about the baby, how the baby’s doing, what the baby will look like, whether the baby’s he or she, what the baby will like, what we will do with the baby… get the point? :-)

I am thankful … for our family and friends whom we’ll soon be seeing again, and many who are going out of their way to help welcome us back to the U.S.

From the kitchen … trying to make sure nothing’s left in the freezer or fridge when we leave a week from today!

I am wearing … brown pants I bought in Mexico years ago, orange “pumpkin” tee with blue thermal hoody, pink socks that match nothing (basically this outfit, but a much larger tummy within)

I am creating … memories in our last week here (for now) and preparing for the upcoming months in the U.S.

I am going … to get off the computer and do the dishes. Maybe. :-)

I am reading … a Dietrich Bonhoeffer book sent by a friend in the mail, and a book on praying for your husband sent by another friend

I am hoping … for smooth travels, especially flights.

I am hearing … the whirling of my hard drive, the whirling of an engine outside, and other than that, surprising silence

Around the house … packing, packing, everywhere!

One of my favorite things … this new adorable outfit, the first I’ve bought for baby, that I picked up on our shopping trip to the Big City last week (see picture below!)

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week … pack, defrost freezer, pack, send out an email to update everyone on our plans, pack, say good-bye to my friends, pack, get a second ultrasound (praying for that placenta to now be in the right spot!), pack… and remember to eat and sleep too!

A Picture Thought I Am Sharing …

Lately, every time I sit down at the computer, I can’t think of anything to write. Or I can think of so much, I can’t figure out how to put it into a post. Or, I’m just busy living life (which sometimes means laying on my side, enjoying the feel of baby’s kicking), so I don’t sit down at the computer at all.

Anyway, I want to keep you all updated, but for today, I’m just going to share answers to questions found at The Simple Woman’s Daybook.

Outside my window… a cold, cold day
I am thinking… I wish this headache would go away
I am thankful for… hubby baking bread in the cold, cold kitchen for us!
From the kitchen… I’ll soon be able to smell those honey wheat rolls!
I am wearing… four layers, including a fleece and a thermal long-sleeve t-shirt
I am creating… a warm spot under the comforter in my bed
I am going… back to the U.S. at the very end of December
I am reading… Intimacy with Jesus
I am hoping… for a healthy little one!
I am hearing… the sounds of food preparation coming from the kitchen
Around the house… a big mess (mostly dishes my fingers were too cold/lazy to do) that I’ll need to clear before my friend comes over tomorrow morning
One of my favorite things… the blue hoody I’m wearing right now (under the fleece sweater)
A few plans for the rest of the week: studying Chinese, preparing for Thanksgiving, finishing the Kimono, cooking hot pot, watching the meteor shower if it isn’t too cloudy
Here is picture I am sharing… the blue hoody :-)
